“Laying down the rubber road to freedom.”

Since 2009 Bomb Shelter Radio has been traversing the country broadcasting pirate radio from various cities across the USA and abroad.

The Bomb Shelter Radio Station takes on different forms.Josh creates Site specific installations made from materials found on site.
In 2016 we transformed a 1974 Chevy LUV into a mobile radio wagon and named it the “Lucille Valentine”. We’ll do a yearly tour of 6-7 cities. In 2018 we started the Motel Tour where we broadcast live from motel rooms all over the USA.
In March 2020 we started the “Bomb Shelter (in place) Radio sessions, basing the project out of Oakland while the Covid 19 quarintine is in place....after 21 episodes of quarentining, the management decided to mix things up and start the “Thursday Night Special”. With 10 episodes in the book, we decided once again to shake it up a little more and switch to Friday night broadcasts known as the “The Lonesome Weekend”. And we roll on! Stay fresh, and stay tuned, the saga continues. ~THE MANAGEMENT
